Together for Tai Po
An update on our support for the community affected by the Wang Fuk Court fire
We have been extremely grateful to all those who have helped us in supporting the Tai Po community, offering their time, resources and compassion.
Our hearts remain firmly with the thousands of families affected by this tragedy and we are committed to providing long-term support over the next three years, assisting the grassroots charities that are providing for all the families, individuals and wider community as they rebuild their lives.
100% of the support received for the Together for Tai Po campaign – both financial and product donations – is being directed entirely to supporting the affected community, guided by the priorities of the frontline charities.
Our support so far (updated 21 July 2026)
FOOD AND PERSONAL CARE DONATIONS: Thanks to the incredible generosity of the community, 68 tonnes of food and personal care products have been distributed by Feeding Hong Kong, to date, meeting requests from 19 frontline food programmes. See our list of charity partners below.
WAREHOUSE FACILITIES: At the outset of this recovery effort, we were kindly donated additional warehouse space and logistics support, to manage the incredible influx of donations from food companies and individuals. Storing donations safely means these can be redistributed when and where needed, minimizing waste.
ONGOING FOOD DONATIONS: We continue to provide charity kitchens supporting the affected community with key staple foods such as fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
- We are distributing supermarket coupons directly to families.
- We are also sharing Community Care packs containing basic essentials such as rice and oil plus instant snacks.
CAPACITY BUILDING FOR CHARITIES: Where needed, we are providing equipment such as fridges/freezers to enable charities to serve more efficiently.
COMMUNITY GATHERINGS: We have been pleased to support community gatherings taking place for those affected by the fire.
ONGOING LEARNING: We are continuously meeting with charities to understand what the current and anticipated needs are for the Tai Po communities, so that we can shape our longer-term support accordingly.
