We have moved, and our new doors are open!
We are excited to share that Feeding Hong Kong has officially moved! Our new, state-of-the-art food bank in Kwai Chung is now fully operational and our former Yau Tong facility is officially closed. We can’t wait to welcome visitors, volunteers and partners to our new home!
For 15 years, Feeding Hong Kong has bridged the gap between surplus quality food and local charities, turning excess inventory into millions of meals for vulnerable communities across our city. With growing demand across our partner network, we have taken a bold step forward: relocating to a larger, purpose-built facility in Kwai Chung.
Our upgraded Kwai Chung home allows us to get more good food to more people, faster:
- Tripled Cold Storage: We can now rescue significantly more fresh, chilled and frozen surplus food.
- Doubled Ambient Storage: We have expanded capacity to store essential staples for over 160 frontline charity partners.
- Community Lounge (Coming Later in 2026): A welcoming space to host FHK’s friends and neighbours.
- Educational Hub (Opening 2027): An interactive centre to educate the next generation on food security, sustainability and waste reduction.

Help us power our new home
Moving to a larger facility doubles our storage capacity but scaling our daily impact requires community support. Every dollar contributed to our Relocation & Foundation Fund directly powers the food rescue operations, cold storage maintenance and delivery logistics needed to feed thousands of Hong Kong families every week.

We collect high quality surplus food from farms, manufacturers, distributors and retailers, and redistribute it to local registered charities.
