Finance Manager
The Finance Manager to responsible for overseeing the organisation’s financial operations and reporting. This includes preparing financial statements and budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organisation’s leadership.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, for management and stakeholders;
- Develop and monitor annual budgets in collaboration with division heads and senior management;
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, internal policies and procedures, and donor requirements for financial reporting and record-keeping;
- Manage the organisation’s banking relationships and oversee cash flow and treasury functions;
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership;
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed;
- Support fundraising efforts by providing financial data and analysis;
- Develop and implement financial policies and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk;
- Supervise and develop the finance team, providing mentorship and fostering professional development.
Experience, skills and knowledge
- Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business management or related field; certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance management role, of which at least one year is gained in the non-profit sector;
- Solid understanding of Hong Kong accounting standards and non-profit financial reporting requirements;
- Experience with grant management and donor reporting requirements;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data;
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information for non-financial stakeholders;
- Proficiency in leveraging a variety of IT solutions to drive efficiency, productivity, and data-driven insights, is an advantage;
- Speak and write fluent English and Cantonese.

Admin & HR Officer
The Admin & HR Officer will support the Feeding Hong Kong Team by handling administrative tasks like managing office procedures and HR functions such as maintaining employee records, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee engagement activities.

Key responsibilities
Administration and Procedures:
- Manage office procedures, routines, and systems for smooth daily operations;
- Coordinate office environment organization, filing, and meeting room setup;
- Liaise with external providers to ensure well-equipped facilities;
- Maintain facilities cleanliness and coordinate minor repairs;
- Process facilities supplies requests and manage inventory;
- Identify procurement needs, research suppliers, and track invoices;
- Support budget tracking for office-related expenses;
- Manage incoming and outgoing courier deliveries;
- Greet and assist visitors, directing them as needed.
HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records and personnel files;
- Assist with payroll processing and HR database management;
- Support benefits programme enrollment and payroll processes;
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes;
- Coordinate annual performance reviews and internship programmes.
Employee Engagement:
- Plan engaging team-building activities like group outings and social events;
- Propose creative team-building ideas aligned with organszational culture;
- Handle logistical arrangements for activities, including bookings and catering;
- Communicate event details to encourage employee participation.
Experience, skills and knowledge
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred;
- Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience may be considered for assistant-level roles;
- Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese and English;
- Effective communication in various forms and excellent presentation skills.
- Good numerical and critical thinking skills;
- Able to establish strong working relationships with Feeding Hong Kong stakeholders;
- Work independently and with diverse groups of people; be approachable, empathetic, and adept at building trusting relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Display a high level of initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Work unsupervised and organize a demanding workload;
- Juggle multiple priorities and deliver under pressure;
- Work accurately with close attention to detail;
- Work with and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Knowledge of strong computer skills such as Microsoft Office;
- Basic understanding of HR and Clerical practices and procedures.

Community Engagement Support Intern
Support our Community Engagement team to ensure the smooth running of our volunteer and education activities

Duties
- Provide support for the food drives, school events, volunteers activities and other community campagins;
- Lead volunteer briefings and tours;
- Translate a variety of materials e.g. newsletters, promotion materials and manuals etc;
- Manage incoming calls and ensure phone messages are relayed to appropriate staff member;
- Answer the door and greet all visitors and volunteers to the Feeding Hong Kong office;
- Maintain and enter information into databases;
- Support with other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- Confident communicator in Chinese and English;
- Passionate ambassador for environmental and social issues
Strong multi-tasker; - Proficiency in MS Office;
- Experience using design software desirable.
Working day
Ideally 1-2 full days a week during term time but can be flexible to fit in with university studies or
2-month full time during summer / 1-month full time during winter break.
Food Sourcing Intern
Support our Food Sourcing team to develop and expand our food donor network

- Provide admin support to the Food Sourcing Team;
- Approach new food donors and prepare pitching materials;
- Assist in food donation reports and analysis;
- Provide support in food industry research;
- Support retail surplus collections;
- Assist in food exhibitions or events if necessary;
- Support with other ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Open to undergraduate student who is passionate about environmental and social issues;
- Pay close attention to detail and accuracy;
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Interact with a range of different people, confidently and pleasantly.
- Work independently with little supervision;
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
