Help Feeding HK deliver food and joy over the holidays

“Our community is always excited to receive the festive meal parcels from Feeding Hong Kong”, explains Kate from Gracious Shepherd Christian Church Limited Neighbourhood Centre. “Not only do they provide enough food for many meals, but there are always a few surprise treats tucked inside which really help to create festival spirit for our beneficiaries who may not otherwise get to celebrate over the festive season.

Everybody deserves a little extra over the holidays. We’ve set ourselves a target to deliver 4,000 festive food parcel this Lunar New Year but we need your help to make it happen.

A donation of HK$175 will help us source, pack and deliver one special food pack which will include essentials such as rice, cooking oil and noodles, and festive treats such as a box of cookies or special condiment.

Who we are

Feeding Hong Kong is a Hong Kong registered charity with a mission to save quality food from going to landfills while delivering food security in Hong Kong. We do this by collecting surplus stock from food companies, sorting and storing it, then redistributing it to charities. We are an accredited member of the international Global Food Banking Network.

Where will the food go?

We support over 150 charities including crisis shelters, senior support services, refugee and new immigrant community centres, after school clubs and other non-profit programmes that provide food to vulnerable groups. Food drives help us top up our foodbank and ensure we can share staple foods alongside the items we rescue as surplus.
