The Conservancy Association – Food Resources Recycling Centre

The Conservancy Association launched its food resource redistribution work in 2013 by establishing the Food Resources Recycling Centre (FRRC)「糧善關愛坊」 at Lei Muk Shue Estate in Tsuen Wan, collecting surplus food and sharing it for free with those in need. Since August 2023, with sponsorship from the DBS Foundation, the Centre has been officially renamed the as “糧善展愛坊” in Chinese, and has been operating to this day.

In addition to food recovery efforts, the Centre regularly organises various educational activities aimed at reducing food waste, such as surplus food workshops, food-saving seminars, and booth games at schools. These initiatives help enhance the public awareness regarding the problems of food resource distribution in Hong Kong and the concept of “expiry dates” to reduce unnecessary waste. The Centre has been a charitable partner of Feeding Hong Kong since 2017.
