Food drives play a vital role in helping us bridge the gap between the items we rescue as surplus and the foods most needed by our charity network. Simply drop off any packaged, long life products at the FHK Foodbank or one of our community collection points and we’ll make sure they are shared with the frontline charities working hard to feed the most vulnerable communities.

Generate additional food supply

Each week, the volume and type of surplus food we collect varies, while the needs of charities remain fairly constant. Food drives generate additional food supplies to help bridge this gap.

Raise awareness in the community

Hosting a food drive allows you to engage your friends, colleagues and community to learn about food waste, food security and food banking, and to be part ofthe solution.

Fundraise for a good cause

Most successful food drives combine food donations with fundraising. Your donations sustain our operations and servicesto charity food programmes.

We can accept food that is

non-perishable,
in original package, unopened packing

with a clearly stated expiry date and manufacturer, and
has a minimum of 2 months shelf life.
