In the wake of the devastating Wang Fuk Court Fire, many families have lost their homes and essentials. We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support from the community and our priority is on raising funds for sustained support over the weeks and months ahead and encouraging contributions of specific food items.

What We Need Right Now

    • Immediate support with funds: Your financial contributions will help us purchase food and personal care items, as well as meal and supermarket vouchers, to ensure that we can meet the ongoing needs of affected families over time.

    • Focus on long-dated food donations: We kindly ask that you concentrate on quick, ready-to-eat items like crackers, biscuits, cup noodles, instant soup, breakfast cereal and UHT milk essential for those who need quick, no-cook options. Long-dated food items, such as rice, canned goods, and other packaged, shelf-stable products will be essential for families in the weeks and months ahead as they begin to recover. At this stage please do not donate fresh or frozen food items.

    • Community Collaboration: We are committed to working with local organisations on the ground to effectively distribute your donations and support those in need. We are actively working with our network now to establish those that are best placed to provide direct assistance to affected families and will keep this page updated as more information becomes available.
