Mid-Autumn Festival is a day for reunions and spreading joy. While celebrating this wonderful festival with our loved ones, let’s not forget the needs in our community. Every year in Hong Kong, over 2 million mooncakes are wasted whilst the people in need are unable to afford so. Donate your surplus mooncakes to us instead of sending them to landfills.
We have set up a list of community collection points across the city and you are invited to donate any extra mooncakes or mooncake gift vouchers from your home or company before the 5th of September, 2022. We will then deliver your donations to our frontline charity partners so they can share the mooncakes with those in need in the community on or before the day. Together, we can reduce food waste and spread kindness at the same time.
If you are donating mooncake vouchers, make sure you mail them to our Yau Tong Foodbank at least 10 days before they expire.

1) Suitable to be stored in room temperature
2) Packaged, unopened and not expired
3) With clearly stated expiry date and manufacturer
