The Santa Sack Campaign

Help us deliver food and joy over the holidays

food parcels for christmas feeding hong kong

Everybody deserves a little extra over the holidays, and this year more than ever. We’ve set ourselves a target to deliver 5,000 Santa Sacks this December but we need your help to make it happen.

A donation of HK$150 will help us source, pack and deliver one special food pack which will include essentials such as rice, cooking oil and noodles, and festive treats such as a box of cookies or special condiment. These packs will top up the 100 tonnes of surplus food we rescue each month and support an extra 50,000 meals for those in need this Christmas.

Help us deliver food and joy and make a donation today!

Donations of HK$100 or above are tax-deductible.

Join the FHK Festive Food Drive

Although the pandemic is behind us, the challenges faced by the vulnerable in our city are far from over. Since 2019, income inequality in our city has soared and Hong Kong’s poorest now make nearly 60 times less than the richest. Our charity partners are working harder than ever and the need for food assistance remains vital.

Help us feed those in need this winter by supporting our Festive Food Drive. Rally your school or office, or take action with family and friends to drop off a food donation at one of our community collection points. With your support we can top up the shelves of our Foodbank with warm and nourishing foods.

Together we can make a difference!

Words from our charity partners

After joining the food program of Feeding Hong Kong, we have been able to distribute donated food on a regular basis and also deliver special food parcels to the community during the festive seasons, benefiting various people and families in need. I am very grateful for Feeding Hong Kong’s Food Program as it is highly beneficial in terms of environmental protection and education.

Sham Shui Po Community Association

Food parcels are valuable and provide essential assistance to people in need. Items such as rice, noodles, oil, and more are all daily necessities. With the support of Feeding Hong Kong, not only does the community receive vital food assistance and feel content, but they also experience the blessings and care contained within each food parcel. Let us work together to continue spreading love!

Additionally, it helps prevent a significant amount of edible food from being wasted, thus contributing to sustainability.

Fight Food Waste this Christmas

Over 3,400 tonnes of food waste is sent to landfills every day in Hong Kong, and this shocking number will likely be even higher during this festive season. The good news is that there are many actions we can take as individuals to help combat food waste.

Feed people, not landfills

For only HK$100, you can support 10 meals for a local charity. We make every dollar count.
