Billy Yeung joined Feeding Hong Kong as the Chief Executive Officer in February 2022. As the leader of Feeding Hong Kong, Billy is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of sustainable plans to advance our mission: to save surplus food and feed people in need. He also spearheads our drive to enhance operational efficiency in food collection and distribution, and our “food wanted, not wasted” educational initiatives in corporations and schools.

To Billy, food waste is a huge problem in the city, one which needs social awareness and action. This is one of his main motivations for joining Feeding Hong Kong: he is committed to rescuing food surplus and making better use of valuable natural resources.

Prior to joining FHK, Billy was the CEO of HKBNES & JOS Group, focusing on expanding and integrating our unique end-to-end ICT solutions capabilities to better serve Enterprise customers with an emphasis on long-term value creation and win-win partnerships. His other experiences include launching and managing HKT Netvigator Internet service in 1996. In 2004, Billy branched out to spearhead Y5Zone in Hong Kong, steering the company to become one of the largest wholesale Wi-Fi suppliers in Hong Kong, which was acquired by HKBN Group in January 2013.

Billy holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Birmingham, UK. Billy is a proud Co-Owner of HKBN.

Billy is a gourmet who has a passion for cuisine from different countries. He is also a golfer who pays more attention to reducing his waistline walking around the courses than broadcasting his score.
